I'm making an assumption that you are referring to an age difference that is significant (10 years or more). Initially, it is easy to believe that age does not matter, however, most people who fall in love do not see past the excitement and euphoria to understand that age really does matter. In relationships where the sheen of novelty and love has worn off, life experience starts to find the cracks in the relationship, and the two parties will inevitably start to grow apart. This does not mean that a relationship between a younger and an older person cannot be meaningful or enriching, but it must be understood that those who do not share the same history have a particular challenge to bridge the "generation gap" if they are to survive as a couple.

Hi there !!!
Age difference can be very positive. Men for example take longer to mature, therefore dating someone at least 5 years older is good, yet younger men do have their charm as well.

You have to think , how many years of difference exist between the couple. What does the man like to do , or not do, and will this be a problem down the road when everything is not color rose.
Age is ok, yet you have to realize that older men have their pros and cons,
they have experience, yet sometimes you wonder if they still feel a thrill with life experiences, having had so many of the same kind. ( all though each experience is unique I must add )
How will they feel in public together?
Does the families involved approve, a lot of times people do not care, yet this can cause problems down the road.
What spiritual beliefs do they have ? we should try to be involved with someone that is similar to us in this realm, makes life so much happier and easy.
It also depends on how each party involved feels, how they feel for each other, how commited they are to each other, age can really be nothing, and it can be so many things at the same time. This is a very delicate subject , not to be taken lightly.
Many times you might think you like something, only to find out down the road you did not like it at all.
Meditate, listen to your silence.
Meditate, go deep within and listen to your soul
Pray to god and ask for guidance,
go to nature and allow your senses to become one with the universe
I wish you find the answer you are searching for. May your journey be filled with love light and peace, always

Sometime age does matter. If you are under 18 then age really matters. Also if you are too far apart in age then that may cause a lot of problems because you and the other person maybe on different levels. Only you can decide if the age really matters or not.

Yes, but it really depends on your age. If you are 15 and dating a 30 year old, then there are some issues there. But if you are 25 and dating a 35 year old, then it's ok. They are both adults who can make mature decisions, depending the individual of course.I would not go beyond that, though. It's kinda sick to see a 60 year old with a 25 year old woman. And vice versa. Why would you want to do that? I don't care how much money he/she has?

It depends on the relative age. The older you both are the less it matters. If there is an extreme difference (say 30 years) it will be a factor eventually, However, if you really love someone it is just a small obstacle to overcome.

It shouldn't matter unless the two parties involved one is a minor under the age of 18 and the others is in their late 20's or older.

If they are legal, that means they are over the age of 19 in Alabama, and can enter into written contracts, then no. Age is only a number.

Absolutely NOT (as long as you are both over 18). My Fiancee is 12 years older than I am and I could not be happier. We have been together almost 4 years now and are still going strong.
