Shedding Weave...??

How do I keep my weave from or help it shed less?? I recently got tracks for the first time. Anything else I should now to take better care of it??

How much it sheds depends on its quality and how hard you might be tugging/combing/bruhsing it. Keep in mind that the extensions are not coming from your scalp, so you must be gentle with them. Don't roughly comb or brush them. I think the bestthing for weaves is a paddle brush. It quickly detangles the hair without to much pull on it. Also, remember that just because it is a weave, doesn't mean that you dont have to properly care for it. Treat it as if it was your own hair, so use products to keep it silky (like oil sheen) and tie it up at night. So, paddle brush, hair care products, should help keep your weave silky and detangled enough to avoid more shedding. But next time, also look for tangle-free hair (less shedding) and for a better quality of hair. GOOD LUCK!!

Try a better brand of hair like Milky way platinum
or Hollywood platinum. All weave is going to shed but these wont shed as much.

They run about $40.00 a pack but totally worth it.

Sometimes the quality of the hair makes a big difference. The higher the price, little or no shedding. Select a brush that doesn't pull the hair from the weft.

well when you cute the hair in pieces make sure you add glue to the area where the hair was cut because the hair sheads there, or it can just be a old pack of hair.
