I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer ten times. Each time, the person said it worked great. I'll copy and paste it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Proactive, brings it all out before it gets rid of it. My oldest step daughter does great with it, my youngest is 16 and it does not work for her. Acne Free Wash is great and you can buy that at Walmart, CVS or Walgreens. The main thing the is to keeps your hands off your face. Acne is internal. Acutane has horrible side effect but it works. I had adult acne at the age of 20 and my dermatologist had me on Acutane. I have not has a break out in 18 years.
Toothpaste is a home remedy. Again, it needs to be attacked internally. Good Luck!

I was in the same problem... except I was the 13 year old. I actually wash my face 3 times a day, and have a prescription medicine that I use and it has really helped a lot! Whatever you, DO NOT TOUCH THE ACNE leave them be and they wont scar the face and they will go away faster. Acne really stinks. :( but I grew out of it.

Acne is part of growing up. She could wash her face with mild soap. There is an ointment call Erytop. It works. Ask the doctor. The most famous medicine now is Proactive.

Clearasil worked the best for me. Still does, as I'm only 19 I still get break-outs now and then. It seemed to make things worse for the first couple days, but, as long as you keep using it once a day, it works GREAT.

If that doesn't work and your daughter has a really bad case of acne, take her to a dermatologist. They can perscribe pills or creme.

Best of luck to you and your daughter, miss. =)

It's not horrible. 13 year olds are getting to a point in their life where they start to smell. As long as the smell isn't to strong because a strong smell of perfume or cologne on any one doesn't smell good.
