I have never heard or read of a Muslim making fun of an atheist?
And I wish someone would tell me who started this "Moon God" propaganda? That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Muslims, Jews and Christians all believe in the same God.
BTW, why do you care about atheists?
You are obviously not one.
Agnostic maybe, ignorant certainly but Atheist ... no way!
Atheists know the dogma of most religions and that is why they are Atheists.

This is a bold question because when I think of it... it reminds me of so many of the things our fellow Muslims have forgotten: to not use violence especially when someone has said something against Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), who did "not" promote violence at all.
It's like a normal human thing I guess. Islam is peace and some Muslims forget that...so people make fun of Islam and then Muslims react 'angrily' without peaceful strategies. Athiests don't believe in God and people make fun of them too, which makes athiests mad as well. You see... people have forgotten their common sense, and their patience.

All of my Muslims friends respect atheists. And the moon-god comment is just childish and ignorant, so I'm not even going to dignify it with a response...
