Yesterday I had a renal (kidney) sonogram and last night I was having my normal kidney pain plus nausea. This morning I woke up with severe dizziness and pain on my right upper abdomen. I felt it and I felt a lump where my gallbladder/kidney is. The dizziness is now gone but now I feel really bloated. I haven't eaten since Noon and didn't feel it then. Could this just be a pull/sore muscle from the sonogram or does it sound more serious??

Go to the hospital.

I haven't ever heard of anyone getting pain from having a sonogram. I would call the doctor who ordered the procedure right away to report this new symptom.

We cannot diagnose you over the computer, even if we WERE Doctors! Sonograms won't cause a pulled muscle. SEE A DOCTOR.

Sounds more serious to me, you need to get to a doctor. Could be kidney trouble, gall bladder trouble, hernia, a number of different things.

Sounds to me like you should not try to guess, I think I would go see a Doctor who knows what they are doing. If you car was broken you'd take it to a mechanic not to a clerk at a store.
