The nodes under my arm have been really swollen for over a month and aching, no change. But the past few days the hard mass is turning into hard lumps in a soft tissue mass and there is redness starting on the skin, burning and sharper pains toward skin. Whats happening now? Is it working toward the skin and out the body? Am I getting over it? How did it feel for you as you were getting over it?
Any suggestions on speeding this up, like hot compresses?

It sounds like its nothing to worry about, the bacteria is just working its way through your system, but to be safe it wouldn't hurt to get them checked if they seem to be more painful than before...
FYI call it Cat Scratch Disease...otherwise people just think your making it up...expect plenty of smart alec comments from people who don't know what it is.

my daughter had it, and they gave her antibiotics and it went away. so i dont know.
