The codes are usually with the instructions. However I have tried 3 different types of universal controls and non work on my TV and it is a big brand TV

Universal remotes cost $5 at Walmart. Just buy a new one.

Google the model number of your remote. You should be able to find the manual and therein, the codes.

see if the manufacturer of your remote has a website.

usually, you can look up all the codes for your remote at the manufacturer's website, based on the model of remote you have. good luck!
