If I have 7 children and can not work because I have breast cancer, do I qualify for social security?

You may be eligible for disability payments from SS. The number of children won't affect your eligibility but will affect your benefit payments.

You might be able to qualify for social security disability. You could try that. Some states also have disability coverage.

The number of children would not likely figure into the determination on whether you're eligible.

The kids do not count, if you are disabled for over a year, your doctor and their doctor agree, and you will not be able to return to work, then you might. For the first year, try state disability.
