No, it is not abnormal. I think more people are into bondage than would care to admit to it. And it would seem that women having rape fantasies is not all that uncommon. As long as you keep it fantasy and don't confuse it with real life, you will be OK. Just enjoy being turned on.

You are definately over the edge, I don't think it rises to the level of a disorder though.

women do have rape fantasies, but ask yourself is it really that you want to be raped? or a role played rape where no matter what you are still in control?

If it is the first one maybe you should seek psycological help, if it is the second, while abnormal and weird, it is not something that rises to that level.

Maybe you are just into bondage?

No, you don't need help. Bondage is one of the most popular fantasy scenarios there is, especially for women. For a good discussion on bondage as an art form try Bedroom Bondage or Red's Realm of Romantic Restraint. They have open discussions on bondage as an excellent form of sexual fantasy.

Okay, no one wants to be raped, it is an ugly crime. What you want is not to be held responsible for your own desires.....if you can say it wasn't your fault (because it was against your will) you will somehow feel better about the whole thing.

You don't need help, you just need to understand your own motives. Same thing for bondage, while some adults do practice or experiment with it, its just a way to not be held responsible in your own head for what happened.

It is totally normal for a woman to fantasize about rape or bondage... The idea of total submission and the unknown.

I too have had this fantasy of rape and have read somewhere that woman often fantasize about, but don't really want it to happen.

Okay being turned on by the idea of being raped doesn't mean you're crazy, it just means you're ignorant on how horrible it is. Bondage just means you like the idea of putting your body completely in someone else's hands.

I don't see a problem with bondage. I have several friends who have girlfriends who like to be choked during sex. Everyone has certain fetishes that they enjoy, but just make sure you are careful regarding the rape scenario.

You are known as a Masochist. See below, my suggestion is to find a Sadist and have a good night of fun!

Sadism is the sexual pleasure or gratification in the infliction of pain and suffering upon another person. The word is derived from the name of the Marquis de Sade, a prolific French philosopher-writer of sadistic novels, plays, and a unique philosophical discourse that championed the infliction and reception of extreme pain as an art form that to him was both sublime and beautiful. The counterpart of sadism is masochism, the sexual pleasure or gratification of having pain or suffering inflicted upon the self, often consisting of sexual fantasies or urges for being beaten, humiliated, bound, tortured, or otherwise made to suffer, either as an enhancement to or a substitute for sexual pleasure. The name is derived from the name of the 19th century author Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, known for his novel Venus in Furs that dealt with highly masochistic themes.

In modern day society neither is normal.

Bondage can be quite a turn-on and I have practiced it myself. I find it a turn-on both as the "victim" or the "knotter"

But rape is quite a different matter and it should NEVER be considered by any woman. I suspect that what you really mean is having rough consensual sex with another person. Rape is never consensual
