still love this guy i knew but he got into drugs and all the time i asked him to stop but he didnt. Then one day he came up to me and said 'i dont think we should see each other anymore because i really do love you but you dont need me, im just trouble.' i told him i really needed him but he wouldnt listen he just said he was sorry. so now its been 5 months and i still cant get over him. when a guy asked me to the school dance i just automatically said no, i just couldnt bare the idea of seeing anyone but Jack. Jacks best mate who is also mine told me he still really liked me so i plucked up the courage to ask him out again but he just said no! i know i will love him forever but when i asked him why he said no he said it was because i deserved better and he would always be a junkie! it really hurt me when he said that how do i forget about him or even get him back?

I guarantee you you'll stop loving him eventually if you can understand that he's right. He knows he has a problem, and knows he can't give you what you deserve, that's why he's pushing you away. One of the biggest mistakes women make is to try to change their men. If he gave up on himself already and says he'll never stop being a junkie, then there's no hope for a recovery. He has to WANT to stop. And even then, not everyone is able to kick the habit, no matter how much help and good intentions they have.

You definitely won't be ready to date for a while, and you shouldn't rush yourself. Rebound relationships are often worse than the prior ones. Love at fifteen can hit you like a brick in the face, and ending a relationship in which both parties still want to be together -but can't- is always tough. Take your time. Hang out with friends and try to take him out of your life. If you have friends in common, try to make sure you don't run into him too often. Seeing him everywhere will only make it harder.

Hang in there. You have your whole life ahead of you!

its better that you are not with him. we always want what we can't have. try to move on. go out with friends and one day when you think you are ready start to date again. you don't need this guy. stay in touch with him but dont get into the same scene with him. you don't want to be with people that are into drugs that can ruin your life. good luck

umm thats a hard one. ok if i was u.....and i couldnt have him back i would still be really good friends with him. just so i could be there for him! but if he is ur first love then the love will never die. but if there is no chance for u getting him back then i would let him go....but be there for him....and it is going to be hard. sometimes letting go is so HARD but its easier then holding onto something that isnt THERE!! hope i helped good luck!!
