Muslims say they believe Jesus was a prophet only and not the Son of God and the Messiah. When Jesus returns, this will prove He was and is the Messiah because the Bible teaches that the Messiah will appear, die to save us from our sins and reappear when God appoints that time to come. The Muslims I have spoken to say they believe Jesus will come again, and that when He does, they are to follow Him. If they are supposed to follow Him then, then why not just follow Him now. And if they are to follow Him, why are they trying to kill Christians or convert them?

Yes, Muslims believe in Jesus as a Prophet and messiah but not God or son of God. Jesus will return to prove that he was not killed but only taken up by God and that he never asked his followers to worship him (Jesus). Muslims do and will follow Jesus in his creed that there is none worthy of worship except the One True God - without any son or partners.

And nobody is trying to kill Christians - just trying to convey the above!

How can Muslims follow Jesus when he is not around?
As a Muslim, I practice the commandment of Jesus to love God and love each each other. I also practice the commandment of the prophet Mohammad to spread peace and love throughout the world.
Besides all the Islamic Fanatic evil doings, I haven't heard of Muslims killing Christians. Who told you this?

The Muslims will not convert to Christianity, their Qu'ran tells them that Jesus went to be with Allah without death, like Enoch and Elijah, and when He returns, He will make Muslims out of the whole world.

So they never expect to follow Jesus into Christianity, they believe that Jesus will lead everyone else into Islam.

The Jewish are still waiting for Jesus to return. They believe that too. Muslims aren't trying to kill Christians and convert them. More violence has been committed by the Christians than the Muslims.

They do "follow him" now, they just refuse to believe he's the son of God or that he rose from the dead, as they believe the christian bible has been corrupted, and as such they have no reason to think it.

Muslims as a whole AREN'T trying to kill or convert chrstians, a very, very small minority is trying to hurt people regardless of religion for their more liberal beliefs due to rhetoric they have received from deceptive people higher in their ranks. It's on the same level as asking why Christians bomb abortion clinics if they don't believe in killing.

As for muslims actually believing he will come again.... What?.....

First, Muslims do not believe that Jesus was put to death or rose from the dead. They do not believe that He was fully man and fully God. This puts them at odds with Christians. Some of them believe that this gives them the right to judge and kill Christians. Most others do so because of some injustice commited to their people without introspection into what the problem actually is.

To answer your question, because they reject almost the entiretly of the Bible, it becomes impossible for them to know Who Jesus was. And thus, they cannot act as He.

it truly is an enticing query. Infact for the period of the time of the prophet of Islam there substitute into dispute between the Christians and the Jews relating to to Abraham. The Jews claimed that Abraham substitute into Jewish and that they have got been following his faith, and the Christians made an comparable declare.as a result as a result surprising here verses have been revealed to the prophet, recorded indoors the Quran: "O human beings of the Scripture(Christians and Jews), why do you argue approximately Abraham on an identical time because of the fact the Torah and the Gospel weren't revealed till at last after him? Then will you not reason? surprising here you're - people who've argued approximately that of which you have [some] comprehend-how, yet why do you argue approximately that of which you have no comprehend-how? And Allah knows, on an identical time as you be attentive to not. Abraham substitute into neither a Jew nor a Christian, yet he substitute into one inclining in direction of certainty, a Muslim [submitting to Allah(God) ]. And he substitute into not of the polytheists. actual, the foremost worth of Abraham between the each and each individual is people who observed him [in submission to Allah ] and this prophet, and individuals who've self concept [in his message]. And Allah is the terrific pal of the believers."-Quran So what i'm attempting to assert is that the comparable is going for Jesus and all the various prophets from Adam to Mohammad. Muslims have self concept that the religion of God,because of the certainty the creation of the 1st human, Adam, is ONE faith, and that it substitute into basically progressed and revealed via skill of prophets/messangers of God as time exceeded, and that the appropriate and extremely very final prophet substitute into Mohammad who substitute into given the Quran which we've self concept is the appropriate testomony.

We also believe we Jesus(pbuh) will be a Muslim, will side with the Muslims, and spread Islam across the world, which then will finally be peaceful.

We'll see that when he comes back.
