Its a beauty school haven for cutting hair..You get what you pay for...I think persons who take the time to go to beauty school should take the time and assist an experienced hair pro..for a year and really learn the trade..If your paying a good amount of money for the hair service, that tends to clue you that the person doing your hair knows what they are doing..If you see someone in your area that has good hair, dont be afraid to ask where they got their hair done..Word of mouth is the best avertisement.

I have found that you can get a bad haircut anywhere. I think that a lot of places like great clips or supercuts try to get people right out of school and maybe that's the problem. but I have worked at a supercuts before when I was right out of school, and after I moved to a newer upscale salon I fixed some peoples cuts from there...and I just want to laugh and tell them that I used to work at one. I'm not a big fan of people giving a bad name to a whole place just because one person did a bad job. who knows, maybe it wasnt' a stylist's fault either, they could be one of those pain in the @ss customers that won't tell you anything descriptive about what they want and expect perfection. Some people go in expecting something bad too cuz it is only like $5 for a haircut, I think they shouldn't go there then....some people are just snobby. I get $55 for a haircut now and I'm not ashamed to tell people I used to get $11 hehe-we all have to start somewhere

Unfortunately, a lot of those chain chop shops employ stylists straight out of hair school. They have to because someone with years of experience and an established clientele is not going to work there. I remember a couple of times I rolled the dice and went to TGF and had someone fresh out of beauty school work on me. Oh, well. You get what you pay for. Nowadays, I don't have that problem. As you can see, I haven't been to a place to get a haircut in about two years.

I used to go there (because I had coupons), but never really got the haircut I was looking for. Now that my agent/girlfriend cuts it for free, I gave GC up.

That's ridiculous to stereotype it.
I live around the corner from one,
and that's where I cut it for Locks for Love.
There is a hairdresser named Rita at mine who does a fabulous job.
As a matter of fact,
I got my hair cut last Tuesday.
Everybody says that's the best haircut they've ever seen for me.

I went to Great Clips once to get a trim, and they did a pretty good job. I've never had my hair actually done there though.
