i think some are definitley brainwashed by their parents........and if you are raised in a very religious house and go to church every week or a few times a week thats brainwashing too, hard times hit and bam you remember mommy said have faith and your priest said pray and have faith that the lord or allah will help.....hibbity bibity....we all want to believe but cmon its all a bunch of bullshit they are just a bunch of books that were written to scare people into being good........if your bad youll burn............they handed out guidelines to keep control over the masses by fear of eternal retribution.......and we are still all a bunch of suckers! the only rule is karma, what goes around comes around.........be good for yourself, and treat people how you want to be treated.......

Parental Brainwashing is not a very easy process; Children always grow to believe in what they want to.
If people would give me a reason to believe in what they believe, i will have no option but to say to them; 'you may be correct'.
You have no right to tell any adult that what he believes is nonsense; if we all looked alike, spoke alike and believed alike, what a boring world it would be!

Jesus is God's son, and God says in the bible that no one shall add to or take away from his word, it will remain forever. That being said anyone who believes that Jesus is not the son of God is wrong.

I believe a person believes what is right for them and what brings peace into their lives.

It doesn't have to be the same for everyone...we're all very different...it's understandable that we would believe differently.

I don't think anyone is wrong.

While I don't think that a religious upbringing constitutes "brainwashing" it is true that our upbringing greatly affects our beliefs in adult life. As to who is right and who is wrong, I guess time will tell.

Obviously everyone's wrong. They either point to their respective religious texts or say that you need faith. They are no different from each other.
