I agree with all the other comments from your other question, Let him have it during the day, Then come night, tell him he has to put it under his pillow.. Then the 'Tooth Fairy'....can put it up later, And he'll never know the difference, In fact, Once he sees his money or whatever you choose to put under his pillow, He'll forget all about wanting to keep the tooth! :] In fact, He might want to pull more teeth out, Lol....Just to get the money!

All in all, YOU'RE the Tooth Fairy, Do as YOU please.

I have a suggestion. Write him a note from the tooth fairy, telling him that normally she takes the teeth, but just this once, since he likes his tooth so much, she'll give it to his mommy for safekeeping.

You do realize that you can still keep the tooth after the "fairy" leaves the money right?

I have EVERY tooth my son ever lost. I keep the first one he lost in a little box with the date he lost it and all his others I keep in an old pill bottle in my cedar chest. He never cared where his teeth went but I did!

Honey, if this is your only dilemma at this age, you are doing great as a parent. Keep the tooth! You deserve it!
