It's not, but it can affect your case (in court, or with your insurance company) if it's found that you were eating at the time of an accident.

I would have to say no. Although you shouldn't eat Taco Bell while driving, I've found it very hard to manage putting the sauce on a burrito and driving at the same time. I've yet to master that particular fast food. Everything else is pretty simple though.

No, it is not. Folks eat with one hand and drive with the other all the time even the cops do it.
So, drive thru and eat and drive on.

Laws vary from state to state, I'm sure in some states its illegal.
