i like this lad and thought he liked me. We started texting each other for a while and then he stopped, i later found out he was with this other girl but then recently saw him on a night out he seemed really flirty and interested he started texting me again. however when i text him back last night he hasnt replied what do you think ?

well, these are some signs :)
One of the easiest ways to know if a guy likes you is if he gives you quick glances and stares at you every so often. Watch him and if he looks at you quite often from time to time, HE LIKES YOU!
If you are hanging out with a guy you usually don't hang out with and that could be a possible boyfriend, the guy that likes you will become interested and will stare at you and the guy you are hanging out with. If he is the bold type he might try to become involved with the two of you which definitely means he likes you!!!
If he talks to your friends a lot he probably likes you.
If he tries to be near you and suddenly takes an interest in things you like, he likes you.
If he talks to you and acknowledges you in some way, this is a sure sign he likes you!
If he tries to make you laugh or says stuff sarcastically that he thinks is funny, again he most likely likes you.
Lastly, if he is nervous around you, he likes you.

He likes you enough to flirt with you.
He likes or liked the other girl enough to be with her.
Depending on your age and his age, he may be flirting without realizing he's sending signals. Or he may be a player. Or he may be genuinely ending another relationship - you won't know until and unless you ask.
But if he is with someone else, and still wants to go out, he's not the guy for you.

Rule of thumb - my grandmother told me - if a man doesn't respect your time GET RID OF HIM. He obviously thinks that you have nothing better to do than sit around and wait for him to decide when he is ready to talk, text or see you - I would leave well enough alone.

If a guy is interested in a girl, he asks her out. Period. The fact that he sends flirtatious messages doesn't mean anything. Sorry.

I would say that u should just come strait out and say y aren't u replying to my text and ask him all kinds of questions until he tells u the truth well thats wat i would rather do and then see if he really like u okay bye bye.
