eg message from local computer to user critical error message -registry damaged and corrupted to cure go www,registrycleanup.com have already bought adware plus error killer and downloaded pop up killer to cure problem but still messenger service pop ups keep coming do i have to give in and buy the registry cleaner??

No this is adware. Go to a reputiple site and download something like ad-aware or Windows Defender. HiJackThis is another prodcut you can try.

There is usually an option in the programs that allow you to stop error messages informing you of any itch and scratch that needs to be dealt with. Just look through the options, and see what has been checked and/or unchecked.

Go to tools, manage add-ons and disable any suspicious tool bars that you do not reconize, seems your browser may have been Hijacked
