Do you dry your feet thoroughly after washing? It sounds like it could be Athlete's foot, which is caused when the spaces between the toes are not dried properly, whether just shower water or sweat. It is worth getting it confirmed with doc, as without looking it may be a lot of different things. If it is athlete's foot, dry thoroughly, and dust with athletes foot powder, change socks regularly. Takes time (few months) but usually goes away eventually.

It could be athletes foot. i have it and it is so bothersome. You should get some tinactin spray. it is over the counter so you can go to walmart or target and get some. spray on your foot after you shower or take a bath and wear socks so it won't get everywhere. also what ever you do don't scratch the spot, it can make it worse and spread on the foot and also on your hands. i hope i have been some assistant's to you. oh and most of the time tinactin spray is the best thing for athletes foot

Try taking antihistamines. I've been plagued by a phantom itch off and on for about 6 years now and there is no apparent cause, no allergies, no change in diet, washing powder or anything like that. Starts off on my feet and hands and it gets so bad I could take an electric sander to it. The only thing my doctor could recommend was taking antihistamines - which I do, twice daily. One thing I have found to be helpful is cutting down drastically on wheat................. apart from that I don't know what else to suggest. Most people will say allergies - either to something in your diet or an external factor. Good luck and hope it goes away x

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and you could have a fungus infection that has not yet manifest itself. i would try tea tree oil or calendula cream and aloe vera is very good for bad skin. Also put some tea tree in your bath about 3 drops and lavender oil 3 drops. Get them from the health store
