I'd rather do something like, oh, I don't know, take up a nice aeroplane and draw the proposal in the sky over her residence first thing in the morning...

I think it's corny but it's cute.
and really, as long as your girl says 'yes' ... then who cares if someone on Yahoo thinks that it's corny. They don't have to marry you :P

I wouldn't say corny, but it's not a way a girl would want to remember her proposal.... most girls, when it comes to this subject, dream about how this moment will be their whole lives. Try to come up with something romantic... example... my husband took me to some natural underground caverns... this particular one had an alter in it... during the tour when we reached the alter, in front of the whole tour, he got down on one knee and proposed to me. Now that was romantic and unexpected. However you decide to do it, I wish you all the best and I hope she says yes. Good Luck.

It doesn't matter how you ask someone to marry you. What matters is that you did. Anything different counts. Why pull the same old thing that everyone Else does. Something different will be nice. I would love for my boyfriend to ask me through the Internet.

Don't do it. She will not think it's cute at all. Marriage proposals should involve knee bending, declaration of love and hugs and kisses, not typed responses that end with TTYL!!! She will definitely NOT like that.

Way too corny, also will make you look really cheap. Take her out to a fine restaurant, have a big bouquet of roses delivered to the restaurant & then ask.
