Love is pain- To lead a person on and tell them you love them and not mean it.
Pain is love- To love a person so much that it hurts inside because you don't know what to expect, but you really love this person and you are unsure about some things and you have a lot of question that need answer, but you don't know where to start.

Love is a mixture of emotions when one person feels so attracted to another person that you value them and want to be with them all the time. The mix of emotions is different with every person.
For you, different kinds of pain are in the mix. That's natural, not uncommon.
But it's not necessary. Not everyone feels that in love.
