Tim's reign as champion so OVER!!!! With the signing of Crocop, a serious DOMINATE heavy weight enters into the UFC. Crocop will run through Tim. If Fedor came to the UFC, all bets are off. It would be the rule of Russians in the UFC.

Hell yeah he's shaking because he is going to lose his precious title belt! Tim is a good fighter and has the size and capability to be the best heavyweight in the world. But he is so scared to lose his belt he puts on the most boring fights ever. Honestly I would love to never see Tim Sylvia's name on a fightcard ever again...unless its against crocop or another proven top level guy who is determined to get the belt. Tim losing the belt is the best thing that can happen to the heavyweight division, the heavyweights are supposed be the money makers, and Tim couldn't sell out my hometown arena is the middle of Kansas.

And yes I think within a year or two the UFC will have fedor in its stable, the Ferrita Bros are smart businessmen and I bet that after Cro Cop's 2 year mutli-million dollar deal is over that they will use Fedor to get him to renue that contract.

hmm to take the gaurenteed point or not to....

Well as much as I'd like to say yes he is. And get 10 points.
I have to say no....

Sylvia although not a great looking fighter in terms of his build fighting style and speed. But he has stuffed Arlovski twice and Made Monson look like an amateur. He is 6'8" his record is 23-2. Yes Cro Cop is a good fighter but he's 6'2" with a 21-4-2 record which gives Sylvia a height advantage and leaves him a little less than equal to Sylvias record.
As fo signing Fedor. Not until he looses the tile and a year or so has passed. He is the champ there and is a god in Japan and Russia no way he is giving that up. Cro Cop did because the heavy weight pool is not great in UFC he can be big over here. And if the money's right anyone will go anywhere.

Cro Cop's on a diffrent level than Tim. He'll get leg kicked a couple times ,then kicked in his ribs a couple times, then finish him off with a nice head kick. Tim Silvia being tall isn't a factor against a fighter with an even greater reach because off his legs. Cro Cop will beat anyone in the UFC hands down until they bring in some world class fighters. I also agree with a diffrent poster on this question about Brandon Vera. I think the title fight after Cro Cop's 2 contracted fights will be Cro Cop VS Brandon Vera.

I will answer your questions in the order you have asked.
No, Sylvia is not shaking, the guy is 6'8" and 270lbs why would he be? I do not think UFC will be able to land Fedor for a few years at least. Pride will beat any offer for Fedor to keep him in Japan unlike Cro Cop who was expendable because he has already had multiple shots at the title and lost. I do think Cro Cop will win, but would not underestimate Sylvia becaus he is just so big, powerful, and skilled that some people just have problems matching up with him.

He won't admit to it, but yes, he's shaking right now. I think UFC will wait to see how Rampage and Cro Cop do first and see if ticket and PPV events sale better. Dana must have paid quite a bit more for those two since Pride pays more than the UFC. If he did, how long will it be before the UFC fighters want more?

I don't think he's shaking. I've heard him say a number of times that he wants to be considered the best heavyweight ever. He'd have to beat CroCop and Fedor to be considered, but that won't happen. He has said he wants to fight Emelianenko. The UFC could eventually sign Fedor, as he recently signed to fight Jeff Monson in a Bodog event. Fedor wouldn't leave his title in Pride though, it would have to be for an exhibition match. Tim Sylvia is going to have to stop Brandon Vera before CroCop gets a shot. The UFC fans will have to be introduced to CroCop with a fight or two before he gets a fight for the belt. I'm hoping that CroCop takes the heavyweight title, then drops down to 205 to challenge Liddell for the LHW belt.

Mirko took out Fedor's brother Aleksander Emelianenko who is 6'6", so I don't see Sylvia's height being much of a problem for him. Everyone thought it would be near impossible for Mirko to land a head kick on Aleksander Emelianenko, but he did!

Sylvia isn't championship material. Yeah he beat Arlovski twice, the third fight Arlovski was injured I think something happened to his right knee. The only other big name is Ricco Rodriguez aside from that he hasn't fought any high quality opposition, but he still has a punchers chance.
