It's called Monosodiumglutemate or MSG. There are several well known restaurants and food manufactures that include it in there ingrediants. It also goes by other names. Research it and you'll be suprised who uses it and how it causes obesity.

GOOD FOR YOU. McDonalds (and all fast food, really) is the worst thing you can put into your body.

Try paying attention to how you feel after you eat well for a week. Try going in the opposite direction with your diet. How about eating at least two green veggies (that you like) a day, every day? And then adding at least one piece of fruit every day?

Maybe when you start looking and feeling better you won't want to go back to the kind of eating that is killing people. I'm not exaggerating. It is.

O.K. So you get cheeseburger cravings. Is there any way you could get yourself some high quality hamburger, good cheese, and all the "fixings" and just make yourself a cheeseburger at home? If you HAVE to have a cheeseburger, at least you will know what you are eating - not a bunch of strange chemicals, trans fats, salt, and who knows what else.

It is O.K. to eat a burger now and then. Just try to get the highest quality burger that you can. And it sounds to me like you know that is NOT a McDonald's burger.

GOOD FOR YOU for being so conscious already and for not wanting to break your record. There is no payoff really in eating that stuff - except for being overweight and in ill health. BUT IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU ARE SMART AND ALREADY KNOW THAT. So let yourself get a craving when you see a McDonald's commercial and keep making the choices you are making to be healthier, and to look and feel better.

Cigarettes contain hundreds of chemicals that do nothing except enhance the addictiveness of the tobbacco. Tobbacco companies are held accountable by the FDA, and as long as those chemicals cannot be directly linked to long-term health problems the FDA cannot dictate their removal.

If the FDA turns a blind eye to cigarettes, what makes you think McDonald's doesn't do the same thing to their food?

McD's doesn't care about you. You are a paycheck to them. The fatter you get, the fatter their wallets get, and as long as people keep eating their crap the cycle continues.

I know what you mean, though. When I stopped eating McD's I wanted it BADLY for the first month or so. NOTHING sounded as appetizing as a freakin' Big Mac some days!

But the way you quit is to simply not eat there. The cravings make it suck at first, and you may even try eating it again after a couple months. But pay attention to how you feel afterward- was it worth it?

All the fast food places are about the same, but Taco Bell and McD's would make me violently ill if I ate it again. Just don't eat it.

I don't know what's put in them to make them taste so good, but they're damn delicious. It's probably a secret within the fast food industry. I was vegetarian a few years back, not anymore, but the first thing I ate which I was having a bad craving for was a McDonald's cheeseburger. It may be something along the lines of what they put in cigarettes to make them so addicting. I know it's not nutritious food, but I have to keep eating it anyway.

well theres a lot of addicting qualities- firstly the colors- red and yellow- they make u hungry and it catches attention quickly. second, it tastes good, in the opinions of some people. If u eat something enough you're gonna begin to get a taste for it. If its good the first time, youre gonna try it again and again.
What you can do to stop eating it is find something better! or you could wait long enough until u get sick of it. try watching supersize me some more- after it sticks in ur head, youll know how your going to turn out. Do things to prevent you from doing it. I like to eat things that have only a small taste- like veggies. they are flavor blasted so if you eat something else that is, it will seem like an extreme, and if you eat something with only some taste it will seem normal

as quickly as each and every week is somewhat lots, yet each and every few weeks would be super, for my section. as long as you do no longer go too frequently, enable the baby %. if he needs nuggets or a burger, yet attempt to motivate the apple slices somewhat of fries, or milk somewhat of soda, some thing which will upload some foodstuff to the meal. i are conscious of it sounds dumb to decline soda, considering the fact that maximum 2 12 months olds are not allowed soda, yet some, like root beer and ginger ale, have not got caffeine, so young ones are allowed to have them each and every so frequently by skill of a few mom and father. McDonalds is obviously no longer an quite healthful determination, yet i individually think of that when each and every few weeks or so isn't too undesirable.

They put High Fructose Corn Syrup in everything. It is very addictive, and as long as you eat HFCS in anything, you will be drawn to foods that have it. Read labels, and avoid anything that has Corn Syrup of any kind in it. Your cravings will dissappear within 3 weeks. Also, take great pride in the fact that you "discovered" their secret.
Unfortunately, you will find that HFCS is in TONS of food for the very reason that it makes you want to eat more of whatever it is in. There is NO other reason for it. Marketing will tell you that it is a cheap sweetner, but the only reason for it is because it causes cravings!!

Eat at other places, like Quiznos or Subway for example. I really don't understand what is so good about Mcdonalds, Burger King, Hardees, Wendys ETC. I just can't even eat fast food like that anymore, it doesen't taste like food to me, tastes very bland.

Try trying foods you may not have liked as a kid and I bet you'll find some good foods to start eating, there's alot of foods I hated as a kid that now I love. To me, that's the best way to stay away from fast food places. Also learing to cook just might help out as well.
