Check with your doctor and make sure you don't have and infection. after that, just wait and follow the doctor's orders.

I would find a doctor that speaks English, you can always find one no matter where you are and have them check on everything for you and also answer all your questions. Don't mess with the incision too much as you can accidentally tear it open. It may just need cleaning and new bandages but a Dr. should do it. It may have a minor infection...does it feel very painful or are you having other side effects such as fever, severe pain, etc? if you are you should get back to the hospital asap! good luck and hope you feel better soon!

The itching means your scar is healing. Don't scratch it, as you could open the wound up. Put something cold on it, or lightly tap the area where it itches.

The doc should have given you instructions on how to care for your wound, but if he didn't, you should call back and get instructions. It may be time to change the bandages!

If the bandage is sort of wet and has a bad odor, find asap someone who is fluent in Spanish and in English and immediately go to surgeon. If it only has changed the color, your doctor might change your bandages (do not try to do this by yourself).

What did your discharge instructions tell you to do? They should have sent you home with instructions. If not call the surgeon and ask him when you should change the bandages and what to look for. As for the itching............don't itch as that is often a sign of healing.
