It appears that there are splashes, or splashmarks on the screen surface. Using a Magic Duster will not remove these marks, what is the best method of cleaning the full screen area without causing any damage please?

Many thanks

only use water, and not much of it. A lightly damp cloth should do the job.

I just bought a 61" TV and the recommendation is never to use any glass cleaning stuff on the TV but use a damped towel and that should clean the TV. Maybe you should repeat the procedure until it takes out the splash marks.

Our TV isn't that big but I use a slightly damp cloth and wipe it over. Don't really wet the cloth just damp and don't really rub otherwise you'll get static build up which will attract more dust.
Hope that helps, or you could try talking to your local appliance shop assistants and find out how they keep the screens clean when they are on display in the shop.

hello there,im a window cleaner by trade but i also know a bit about cleaning products too,the best thing to use without worry about marking the screen whatsoever is a cloth called a MICROFIBER CLEANING CLOTH.they come in green and blue and are the best thing for what your looking for, they are also excellent for stainless steel items too and they don't leave a mark.they are for sale on eBay from window cleaning supplies shops.if you get one just give it a good wash out them wring it tightly until its slightly damp and away you go.you will not be disappointed.could i just add never use any spray no matter what magical power it says it has on the tin.all sprays leave a nasty scum which is very hard to get of over a long period.

Some idiot is telling people to use T Cut to clean their screens.. please don't or you'll have more than splashes on your screen.

The best thing I find to use is the cleaning cloths you can buy for cleaning computer monitors.. I know PCWorld sell them but I'm sure most computer shops would sell them.
