How long can you leave a unopened bottle of asti in the fridge before it goes bad?

For pretty much all sparkling wines, the rule is 2 months in the fridge. Apparently the taste after that may be a little "off" but it's not spoiled.

Do it a favor: store it properly in a dark, cool, but non fridge location and just chill it before you open it.

Oh, and store it on its side.
