Abdominal adipose (fat) is tough to lose for many people. The best and longest lasting solution is diet and cardio. Stomach crunches and sit ups will strengthen your core and build a strong abdominal section, however, if you do not combat the fat layer above, you will never really see the gains you have made.
Of course much of this will also be determined by age and gender. Men do tend to carry more fat in thier mid-section and women will carry more in thier butt and thigh area.
If you truly want to lose the fat, the best exercise is a cardio regimen. It need not be extreme, but you will need to incorporate it. You will also need to examine your daily diet. Stick to lean protiens, complex carbs, vegetables and fruit (easy on the fruit since it has lots of sugar which when not burned will also lead to excess calories).
It takes 3500 calories of energy to create an extra pound. Start by finding your basal metabolic rate to see how many calories are your base needed everyday just to survive. Then go from there. It is not going to be easy, but it will be worth it. Quick fixes may be a band-aid but if you don't really address the diet, you will end up gaining the wieght back and possibly more.
Lastly, Pilates is a great exercise to strengthen your core and give you more of a streamlined physique (after you've also added cardio and a cleaner diet).
Good luck!

Yes work the muscles of your lower back because belly fat strains those muscles and your spine the more erect you stand the less fat you will appear and tightening your back muscles will lessen your love handles. You won't lose tummy fat without exercise so put those exercise free fantasies out of your noggin'.
Weight loss pills will help but even then you have to exercise. Get a prescription weight loss pill from a doctor they're often less expensive and work better than the over the counter stuff. I used phentermine and walked a lot and drank only water and lost 5 pounds a month.

There is no easy solution, sorry. Surgery is $$$ and painful (watch an episode of Dr 90210 if you don't know what I mean). They key to tummy fat is prevention, through good nutrition and enough exercise. But once you have it, either accept yourself as who you are, or make a lifestyle change that involves the above-mentioned good nutrition and exercise. It won't be easy, but the reward for all the hard work is you feeling great about how you look. Good luck!

There is not easy solution to losing tummy fat. The best thing to do is run, and do any exercises that target the area, such as Pilates. The only easy but painful/expensive option I can think of is liposuction or a tummy tuck.

Crunches / Sit-ups / Standup, and reach to your toes! Many things work. Stretching also, flexes your back and tummy muscles! I do crunches / Situps, toe Touches, Ride Bikes, Walk, Jog, And it doesnt take much time. [: A few each a day, and I have a great result afterwards! I hope this helps. Good luck, Doll <3 !

Well, you can't do anything with your tummy fat unless you get up and do some excersices. If you don't want to do sit ups, riding a bike I hear is a good way, to get in shape. It helped make my dad lose weight, and he lost a lot of inches around his weight. Jogging can help as well, swimming is a good way to get in shape cause you'll be using a lot of your muscles.

i dont think there are many other ways to lose tummy fat, except maybe using an ab-cruncher machine, they work pretty good
also, during the day, try to be conscious of your tummy when you are sitting down and use the muscles in your tummy to sit up straight (it is also good for your posture)

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
