best thing you can do is go to your local tat shop. just ask to help out for free. get to know how things run. keep practicing on your drawings. then you can practice on a grapfruit. you'll go far as your commitment will take you.

Try Craigslist.com and see if there is anything in the classifieds ads! Or you can post an ad on there for free in the job section! Other than that get out there and start applying at Tat shops... Ask if they are hiring... Bring you resume, Cover Letter, and Portfolio (if you are an artist)!
