If you feel something is wrong (in the end- you know best because you care the most) then pursue it with your doctor. Demand answers. If your doctor is not responsive enough, find another doctor. Ask lots of questions, see specialists, find help from your community. Many communities offer free programs to help children with developmental issues -- check to see if one is available in your community. You are your son's strongest advocate. Good luck & god bless.

Shes right definately talk with your pediatrician!! Just remember if you child doesn't feel good and you get frustrated he can sense that frustration. Try to be patient! He might be feeling frustration too!! He probably wants to do things that he can't or if he is still having trouble communicating he could get upset!! My son is 16 months old and dying to talk and when he can't tell me what he wants and I don't understand what his finger is pointing to he throws a fit! Just relax try your best not to get upset with him!! Good Luck I hope everything works out with your son!

Does he have periods when he's withdrawn at all, and he'll sit and stare or rock back and forth? You might want to have him tested for autism.
