There are many different heavens : In the muslim heaven for martyrs , like the one where Saddam is, there are distributions of virgins for the delight of the guys up there. There are also probably a few different christian heavens. The catholics see the protestants as heretics. No way they could share a heaven. Also do you see Mother Theresa in the same heaven as Lady Di and her lover ? So obviously lots of heaven for lots of people.

Confusion is not of God, therefore if you are confused it is by listening to man and not the Spirit of God.
Heaven is a real place! Hell is a real place! It depends on man/woman where they want to spend eternity. The Word of God (the Bible as we know it) tells us the only way to the Father is through His Son. Meaning exactly what? Meaning that if we believe upon the name of Jesus (Immanuel) we are saved. However, we must confess this in public with our own mouth.
Satan believes in God! But, he does not believe upon the name of Jesus. Therefore, Satan will be cast to the pit of hell along with all those that don't believe upon the name of Jesus.
You might ask, what about those from the Old Testament. They had to believe upon God the Father, cause Christ Jesus was not yet born.
Christ Jesus is God in the flesh! Many don't understand how God is the Creator, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Just like I'm a daughter, sister, and aunt. Three forms but one person! Same with God... the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit (Comforter).
Heaven is for all who believe in the Godhead... as you find in both the Bible and the Torrah...... in Genesis 1 we see all three forms of God present. He tells in chapter 9 "...Let US make man in OUR image".....
The title "Christian" didn't come about until after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Its a title for those who believe and follow Jesus Christ.
Catholics are Christian, even though some of them would say they are NOT Christian. Mormons are Christian, even though their title is Mormon. Jeovah Witness are Christian, even though they are called by their doctrine title.
If you are a believer in the Living God... you are bound for heaven. If you believe or follow someone or thing other than God the Father/Son/Holy Spirit you are bound for hell. PERIOD!!!
Some may not agree, but that is ok.

The concept of 'heaven' in the bible is similar to most other things in the bible--superstitious nonsense written by overzealous people with a penchant for authoritarian rule.
As far as I'm concerned, if there is an afterlife, and only 'Christians' get to go to heaven, then it's the last place I would want to spend eternity.

You are very confused. The Bible actually says that to be saved, you must believe that Jesus is the Son of God and accept Him as your Saviour. Jesus even said Himself that He is the only path to Heaven, that many will try to get in by other means, but they can't. Belief and faith in and accepting Him as Saviour is the only way to Heaven. So with that being said, maybe it really is a "Christian Heaven". Just belief in God will not save you and get you to Heaven. Remember that Jesus Himself also said "You say you believe in God; good. But even the demons believe in God and tremble".

Actually, the Bible says that you can only get to Heaven through Jesus Christ - therefore, Christians are the intended inhabitants. Those who deny that Christ is God, don't believe in Him.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Only those who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and enter Heaven.... those are the ones of The True Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head... and those are the ones of The True Christian Faith.
ALL may come to God... so long as they do it in The Way He prescribes.... man invented "religion" will get no one into Heaven. no matter how hard they try to claim to "believe" in the same god

~~~ Stephanie ,,,,That's why in the "R&S Section" people should be specific as this is NOT the "Christian Section". If you are speaking in The Chirstian Context then it's Obvious that you are speaking of a Christian Concept of Heaven. If you are speaking in general terms then "Heaven" can mean many things,,, most commonly it is "A Place in the Afterlife" which has many names such as Nirvana, Shangri-La, Valhalla, etc, etc. etc. Your confusion is most likely the result of your subjective, and most likely, exclusive christian influence. Open your Mind.
I believe that there are multiple "heavens", heavens no greater or nor worse than others but would you really want to be Hindu and be in a Muslim heaven, or a chritian in a Buddhist heaven etc???
by the way you are incorrect, the bible claims that if you do not believe in jesus you will not go to "heaven" most religions believe in god it's just that christians claim that god listens to no one except those who use jesus name in their prayers. I find that preposterous, an all mighty being only listening to a people who use a "code" word to get in with him. they make it sound like an exclusive club. RUBBISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you can't prove a christian "only" heaven until you can prove that all the different religions actually do not worship the same god. if you speak another language, does that mean you can't communicate just because its not in english? maybe the "TRUE" church is made up of members who can listen to and understand "all" languages, instead of trying to single one out above the rest. tolerance is a virtue, and so is knowledge.
The concept of Heaven existed long before Christians nicked it for themselves. Of course, they say that no one who isn't a Christian can go, but almost all other religions do not put such limits on their heavens.
It's the way Christians work. They stole Christmas, from the followers of Mithra, they stole the Virgin Birth from the followers of Issis, they stole Easter from the Jews and the Celts, they stole Yule from the Celts and the Norse, they stole Christianity from the Jews, they stole the old Testament from the Jews, they stole Baptism from John the Baptist's followers. They even stole the concept of believing in someone to go to heaven (which was believed by certain religions before Christ was born).
Jesus stole most of his teaching from the order who wrote the dead sea scrolls long before he was born.
Lets face it, they are just Thieves! Following their "Lord's" example.
