I have an ex girlfriend that dumped me but she wanted to remain friends. We still hang out and do things but i told her i didnt want to be friends with her and she cried and told me that she still and will always love me. The only reason i dont want to remains friends is because of the memorys and pain i have gone throught with her. And so since i cant get rid of her i just deal with it and she broke up with me four months ago and just recently over the weekend of Christmas we had sex for the first time in over four months. She still stays the night at my apartment and she still calls me everynight telling me about her life. What i want to know is why is a girl that dumped me still want to be a part of my life and even have sex with me but she broke up with me because of my attitude and i have tried to get rid of her but i cant. What is happening here and what should i do?

There are some serious disfunctions here. You need to think about boundaries. Are you going to have sex, take phone calls, in other words act like a boyfriend, or move on. I think you have not decided what you want. I have seen this many, many times. If she were to meet a new guy today and you tried to call her, she would file stalking charges or at least say it is better you not call her. This situation is preventing you from moving forward. As far as being friends. That does not work. You can be friendly.

Do you expect her to come straight out and tell you she is a s-l-u-t? People think they are good people no matter if they are bad or not. She has told you that you are not the right man, but sometimes you can be the right now man ... get it? I would want to cut my ties with her and it sounds as if you want to do the same. If you really want her to leave, you need to quit being nice about it and really show her your real attitude. Or else you can do like she is doing ... that's getting what she can get until something better comes along. That is about all the help I can offer, since I've never had your problem. I seem to be able to make women leave like a bat out of hell without trying. *shrug*
