Then u don't have to be up front or offend anyone.

Just let her know what u both have in common with

Then she will know what things are of value to u
in regards to building a relationship for the right reasons.

What are the right reasons? It sounds like you want a girlfriend for the sake of having a girlfriend, not because you know a girl that you like and want to be with. And that is the only right reason for wanting a girlfriend.
