As a Humanist, I always prefer reality, however gritty and perilous, to even the most comforting fantasy.
> "wouldn't it be better if he just let us all stay in heaven and if we didn't even know how to sin"?
As I'm sure Lt. Worf would attest, simulations in the holodeck are always more invigorating with the safety protocols disabled.

It surprises me the number of people that have taken a simple "free will" question and given bizarre, illogically anti-Christian answers. But to answer your question, it is better to know the truth for what it is-- no matter how horrendous. The strength lies not in ignorancee of sin, but in conquering it one temptation at a time.
I would choose the "real world" (even though I thought the movies were stunningly hard to follow) because fantasy is just that: fantasy. I love to imagine and dream and go off into my own little world, but then again, I would be of little use. The problem never goes away by saying it isn't there.

"wouldn't it be better if he just let us all stay in heaven and if we didn't even know how to sin."
No. Simply because it would deny us our ability to create.
"If you had choice between living in the Matrix or the "real world" which would you chose?"
The Matrix is real for those living within it. It is a part of their personal creation. Unlike being captive in heaven without your human ability to sin or simply create.

The Matrix is a deception. I prefer truth and reality. The second part is , well, oxymoronic?? Free will is better than being a robot I guess. The point of free will is so that we can love or hate God voluntarily. He already has angels to just hang out and worship Him. They didn't get the choice initially. They did have one moment of choice and 1/3 of them left with Lucifer. God wanted to be loved by choice. Thus, free will.

Id probably choose the Matrix. Damn Cyfer and his steak speech!!
However, it should be known that Heaven is another Matrix - fake, unreal world created by man to cloud other's judgement.

remember that the blue pill is what the masses have confidence. So, finding out on Christ IS to choose for the purple pill! I chosen God some years in the past! additionally, taking the blue pill is believing each and everything you notice, hear, experience, and so on. is the only element this is genuine. So Atheists are those finding out on the blue pill distinctly.

Well, I view you question in a different light.
Xians see the world as a fantasy land and some actually admit that they can't accept the atheist view b/c "Why keep living?" "Why be moral?" etc...
So they choose to not even pursue truth in favor of their comfortable fantasy

the real world. Although I enjoy in my dreams as well. We are in a matrix reality at night.
God doesn't exists. At least not in a way you think it does.

Its funny how you assume christianity is somehow the answer to all the world's problems, you know that even if you report me and ban me ill get the last laugh when you die. I hate christianity and i will stop at nothing to see it crushed like the roach it is.
