it depends on how tall you are....age is kinda irrelevant, but things like height make a differenc here...anything below 5' to 5'1" I would say you could lose a little, but it still wouldn't be that bad for you to be that weight cuz odds are at your age you will probably grow into it, If you really want to lose tho, cut back on your food, if you go out to eat, the actuall appropriate portion is ussually the size of kids meals...start walking or other physical activities. if you can get me more details I could help you more, but this is just a scratch the surface answer......

Unless you are 4' 10' or smaller, you don't want to be 90 lbs. If you are around 5' 3" or 5' 4" then the 117 is an ideal weight.
For Pete's sake, you're 14 and not finished growing yet. Have fun and play like 14 year olds should instead of worrying about your body structure.

I think 117 is a great weight to be at. I'm not sure if there really is a healthy way to get down to 90 being that your already at a healthy weight, but if your looking to drop down, just run and or exercise... don't risk it with too much dieting.... Depending on how much you do you probably won't get down to 90 but you'll be satisfied... Wish you the best!!

If your a male I'd say your healthy, depending on your height. If your a female I'd say 90-110 is ok so 117 isn't bad but if you eat a balanced meal and run around your local track every day you should go down pretty fast.

At the age of 14, unless you're grotesquely overweight, you really shouldn't be too worried about your weight. Your body is going through a period of growth and development right now, and odds are that you're not done, and that you'll change more over the next few years. You really shouldn't be worried about losing anything from 117 lbs unless you're only four feet tall.

Don't know how tall you are. It makes a big difference. Drink a lot of water and eat healthy. You actually may gain some weight before loosing it. If you deprive your body of the right foods, when it starts getting it, it will store it because it doesn't know when it will get more. Once you treat your body well, it will cycle through the food better and you will burn calories more efficiantly. Also, try exersicing before a meal. This will heighten your matabolism and the nutrients will be used better.

You are still growing therefore watch what you eat. It's hard to try to get you on a strict diet when your body is still maturing and will still need it's proteins. However, it all depends on your height. Height and weight work accordingly together so keep that in thought!! Eat fruits and vegetables, less carbs, whole wheat instead of white, white meat (contains lots of proteins), excercise, and lots and lots of water.

You are fine. I'm 16 and I weigh 125. Stop complaining about your weight. Don't be like Nicole Richie.
