Donating means you are doing it for free. You can donate your blood or sell your plasma. You can sell plasma for about 35$ each time but you can only do it once or twice a month.

donating, like to the red cross, is you giving your blood for free. which is awesome :)

there are places that you can sell your blood/plasma depending on where you live. they use it in reagents and research. check the phone book.
