Based on I.Q. tests given to members of different professions, pastors scored the lowest. The intelligence of some pastors is equivalent to that of an adult monkey, or a 3 year old child. Some border on retardation.

No, it must be a bogus set of stats. Unless you intentionally separated out all the educated pastors, and left only "lay" pastors with no seminary training. Most Mainstream churches require a pastor to have at least a Master of Divinity. That is a minimum of 90-120 sch after a Bachelors degree, depending on the denomination, plus mastery of 2 additional languages. The M.Th.degree will require a minimum of another 30 hours, and a Th.D. would yet require 60 more after that with an additional language-usually German.

I cannot get into your site so don't know if it is relevent to anything, or not.
Truthfully, I am not too surprised on some pastors scoring low. They are so into their profession that they tend to block out the world and in some cases this can be good. My opinion--the world is a very wicked place. I would escape--if I could--and I pretty much have--compared to the population in general.
Any professional dedicated to their work will block out the world to a certain degree but a pastor or religious person most of all. This does not mean that they are retarded--just retarded in worldly knowledge. Does this bother you directly?? If not, please continue you life and let others continue their life. Is that asking too much of you???

And what follows from that? What's your point? I've never met a pastor that fits that description. They're generally average people with average intelligence. I would say it's safe to bet that their intelligence is probably comparable to the region they're in. But this was just an attack, not a question. Just keep spreading that hate...

What kind of intelligence are the tests measuring?
IQ tests dont actually mean a lot. For a pastor I would rank his emotional intelligence as most important. His empathy and understanding.
The next number in the 'following series' isnt much help if you are trying to help someone depressed.

that doesn't sound false at all. what puzzles me more is that I know of some one who is a nuclear engineer and is a stout chritian who believes that the world is 6000 years old!! he's convinced of this because of the timing between the seven days of creation and the arrival of adam. I wonder then how some one can be trusted full to design such things
non the less I would like to know where you got that info from

Of course not..
They will tend to view things in different ways than non-believers though, so an IQ test shouldnt really be seen as the definitive authority on intelligence.

I remember reading that CPA's had the highest average IQs. The info about pastors is new, but not entirely unexpected.
