I haven't been laid in over a year and for the majority of that time it hasn't really bothered me, I have had offers but no one has been of interest to me, whilst some of my friends have one night stands every other week and don't seem to fussy who they take home with them.

It's your body no one elses, so why would you care if someone else thought you were weird or not concerning it?
If being normal is having sex every week with a stranger, who - you didn't even know very well who'd been with another stranger the week before - I'd rather be weird than normal. Normal sound stupid to me! Especially in a world or AIDS, herpes, and who knows what else.
Don't be so concerned about what other people think about you - it's what you think about yourself that's really important. And it's how you treat yourself and others that's more important. So f*** the other peoples opinion, and just be yourself.

That's not weird. Any self respecting person would be similar, especially with so much disease around. Making love and base sex as you know, are very different. Why rush? I hope you meet some one who is compatible soon. Besides, I'm a handsome guy but I've been in the 'desert' for a little longer than you.

Well some of my friends go home with anything that is female and able to walk. LOL Depends on your age and what you do. If you are working all the time, you might lose the interest. I don't know. Me, I takes it when I gets it, but only the good looking babes. No fatties, women or joints, for me. lol

You're normal... and do you want to know why? You're normal because you want to find someone to have that special moment with again. You don't want to be like your friends who just go around and sleep with any guy they choose. You're the kind of lady that wants to be happy with making love with the man you love and adore.
Trust me there is nothing wrong with you... you will feel that incredible sensation with the man that you feel comfortable with, and you love.
You're NOT weird under any circumstances you're normal and every lady goes through this...

Plain is weird .... i also have friends who well play the field and yeh i buy my own drinks go home alone and think nothing of it. Shagging is not a sport in my world and anyway who says you gotta get laid everytime you meet some one i hate that

It's a good thing that you're selective and unwilling to 'settle' for whatever and/or whomever is available. If I were you, I wouldn't change a thing. One night stands are probably not fulfilling for your friends either, but they just are unwilling to admit the same. It may not be 'normal' to be so cautious in the love game, but it certaintly is smart. Good Luck

One night stands are just sad. for the most part people are drunk, lonely and pathetic when they do this, especially when it comes to women, It's cheap, slutty shameful behaviour. And then they are so surprised why the guy never calls?
Good for you, be picky. You will find the right person for the right reasons.

i feel sex is always better when your in a loving relationship and regret every one night stand so i think your normal and doing the right thing by not letting anyone into your bed

Friends who aren't too fussy about who they take home end up with herpes, AIDS/HIV, warts, other STD's, surprise babies and probably a case of crabs. I think I'd rather be "weird" than risk all that.
