I would like to se what proof if any is out there to prove that D&D is in fact a demonic game. on both sides of the coin though please provide a reason with some basis of proof.

I personally am Christian but have been playing D&D and several other Role-playing games for years and have never found anything demonic nor satanic about it. just looking to see if anyone has.

Some people will say yes and some will say no. How to decide if something is right or not? Someone once said to me, "If God walked into the room while you were playing would you be ashamed and hide it?" If yes then maybe you shouldnt be playing it. If no then why not?

There isn't anything demonic about it. The only thing I have ever even heard of that would come close was a teenager beating the hell outta one of his friends while playing the game....... BUT!!!!! he was tripping on acid. *wink* Other than that, I have not seen anything of the sort. I have been playing D&D since I was 12... and though I haven't played in the past 5 yrs, I still read the books from time to time..... I'm 36. *smile*

I played D&D for years, and listened to people whine about it being 'evil' and causing kids who played it to commit suicide (strangely their abusive alcoholic parents were never blamed).
It's the same with heavy metal, or whatever. It makes a good scapegoat for all the evils in the world.
If someone takes anything too seriously, it can be dangerous, but to point the finger at something as benign as a role playing game, and claiming it is 'demonic' is the height of stupidity.

It's a simple board game-you can accuse anything of being demonic-but we are responsible for the demons-or demonic behavior. People like to place blame or give credit to objects but of course those are all externalizations of whats inside our own hearts. Gotta blame somebody, right?

AD&D are just games. Why would anyone believe they're demonic is beyond me--there's more demonic going-ons in reality, much less a silly game with made up characters. Yuh?

roflmao. No more than rock n roll. Its just a game. A fun game too. I've played DnD for years though my favorite is the horror game Vampire: The Masquerade. Its just entertainment, like movies, and music. Nothing more.
