Couldn't he just go and die himself? In OT on many occasions he has no problem assuming human form, so how come this time he didn't have testicular fortitude to do that himself and had to send Jesus who probably wasn't even aware who the heck he was for the good part of his human life.

What the hell is the role of this "Father"??? To impregnate virgin Mary? That's it?

Man, the more I think about it, the more retarded it all sounds.

It sounds like you are searching for a pathway "staircase" to Heaven. But, you can't stand to listen to Bubba preachers who will tell you anything to build and grow their empires.

Just look at it this way: When you finally find how to get there, you will not have to kiss the Popes Ring, or shout your slogans to convince yourself.

You will have learned God's real message:

Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

Forgiveness of each other is the path to Heaven; How ever you define God, and However you define Heaven.

I am a Christian; meaning: I follow Jesus' message, which is the same message of confucious, but is not the message of Mohammad, (Killing those that don't convert to your religion is not Harmony)

PS: You don't really think God sent his son? Jesus simply volunteered, God "gave" his approval, he didn't want to do it, but as his wife Natalie said, "God, I don't want to endanger Jesus either, but don't you think Jesus should be able to make that decision?"

God the Father is just one of the many roles that God is. It is one of the three main roles of the Trinity; God the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. The Bible talkes about Jesus teaching the high preists when he was just a kid, hence he knew who he was the whole time. He knew before he even went. The reason God used a virgin was because Jesus was pure, and had to be to serve his purpose of dying on the cross. God sent him to die on the cross so that no one had to bring in animal sacrifices when they commited a sin anymore. Jesus was so important to God that he was sent to bear all of man kind's sin and sickness and everything else. And b/c he was so important it followed the traditions of the OT making it to where no one had to do those traditions any longer because Jesus was enough of a sacrifice to cover everything forever!
God the Father's role is to be a Father to everyone. If you a relationship with him personally you would know what it felt like to always know he is on your side and to know he already has EVERYTHING you will do in life planned out. He plays a big role in everyones life, even if you don't think so. Things are not left up to "destiny" or "fate" to happen, those things happen because GOD has already decided before you were even born, what your life would hold.
Any other questions?

God sent Jesus, a perfect man, to buy back what Adam, a perfect man, had lost. Which was everlasting life in a paradise earth. The bible says: 'a perfect man for a perfect man.' So God lovingly sent his son Jesus to die for all us humans today. Sure God is powerful enough to do anything, he could have came to earth but remember what the bible says: "no man can see my face and yet lived." Why would God come to earth and die for us humans when it was humans that sinned against him in the first place? Were lucky that he is even given us this secong chance.

No man has seen God at any time .The Bible says .All those appearances in the OT of God were in fact the pre-incarnate Jesus.John says that Jesus revealed God to us.Besides Jesus is God the Son from all eternity(read Collosians 1),He volunteered to come down "To suffer for the joy that would come from it "Hebrews ch 12.Phillipians says "He thought it not robbery to be equal to God,but he set aside some glory to become one of us".The Father did not "impegnate" her like that .It's more like a test tube baby kind of thing and implanted in the womb.
Jesus knew from the beginning what He was going to do.By the time He was 12 He was explaining scripture to the grownups in the Temple.

God didn't have to send His Son to die for our sins, He chose to out of love for all mankind." For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." This was Gods plan from the beginning, as evidenced by the prophesy of the Old Testament prophets.

Your hung up on the understanding of what "son" means. It is only a reference to submission not equality. Jesus IS God. His role as taking human flesh is described in language we would understand that as a son to a father in submission. The thinking that Jesus was only a "prophet" is from uninspired cultic writings from moon worshiping pagans.

Okay, this is one of those"read the bible" scenarios. Jesus asked to be put to death to save mankind. God the Father is already angry enough to wipe out the human race. And Jesus was aware who he was at the age of 12 when he left home to "do his Father's work". Have any idea about this story?

The Bible states that the just shall live by faith. The things of God are seen through faith. We believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, simply because the Bible says it is so. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son . . .
These are terms we understand - they are shadows of the truth we will one day look fully into . . . but right now, because of our limitations (ie: sin) we see as through a glass darkly.
*God did not spare his only Son: he gave HIM! (no greater love . . .)
*God does not have to impregnate a woman (not like you think) HE can just speak it and it is true!

This is the hard part: how can three persons be one person? We are unable to process this kind of math! (we only come close in chemistry) Maybe it takes a different plane of existance - a different demension - a place that God exists but you don't.
How do you explain to your dog that you go to school or work every day and come home later? You don't! Not in those terms, but you do relate to your dog in terms he/she does understands. And you ask your dog to take you on faith . . . not proof . . . but on faith . . . as time goes by, he/she begins to always believe [in] you . . . trust you . . . depend on you . . .

Are you God's Pet? No! He became sin for you since you were unable to take care of the sin problem yourself . . . no you are even more precious than a pet . . . God did for you what you could not do for yourself before you even knew the question!
Most of the OT times you reffered to were Jesus
Jesus was very aware of who he was . . . and what he was to do.
He GAVE himself . . .

Hello Asker,

Well! I believe that was his way of saving man kind and exposing the creator of heaven and earth. If God had die himself how would we still have an existing world. God did us all a favor Thur his love for man kind.

Good Luck
