Pat Robertson predicted a bad one in 2007.

What should we do to prevent it?

Also predicted by others is a shaking from the West to the East. Possible a spiritual shaking but could also be earthquake/ tsunamis.

He predicted storms and possibly a tsunami in 2006? We just had some major storms in the Northwest. I think prayers prevented the possible tsunami & the grace of God.

Robertson believes the Lord revealed this to him. So? I didn't hear what he actually said. So, am not sure if we can do something to thwart off a terrorist attack. Also compared our feigned friendship with Israel and actually pushing Israel toward "national suicide". Well God does protect Israel. So if we encourage Israel to give up land, we'll reap a blow to our land. (Ex. huricane Katrina and Gaza withdrawal).

I heard Robertson predicted huricane Katrina was because of gays (but he didn't say the Lord told him that). Many thought that at first. But after hearing from those who heard from God in vision, realize it was because of Gaza withdrawal (land for land).

A true prophet hears from the Lord God. Robertson said he heard this from the Lord.

Be watchful and pray. I don't know of anything else that is better.

"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8, 2006. On May 17, he added, "There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest."

It was one of the lightest storm seasons in years, and we're still waiting for that tsunami. So either God LIED to him, or he didn't hear Him right (in which case he's pulling his predictions out of his a$s and why should anything he says be believed?).

I also note how it's peppered with "might" and "may" - exactly the sort of thing that people complain about in horoscopes and psychics.

So why is Pat Robertson allowed to prophesize, again? I thought the Bible frowned on that sort of thing? Isn't that where the whole "Divination is the work of the Devil" thing comes from?

1) Pat Robertson is a retard.

2) Predicting terrorist attacks is the same as predicting weather by saying 'There will be weather tommorrow'.

There will most likely be more terrorist attacks, but this nonsense of 'predicting' them is just that--nonsense.

Everyone thinks there is going to be a terrorist attack on this date, or that date--usually around important holidays or other signifigant dates. They are convinced that some building or structure will be the site of a terrorist attack.

The fact is, if terrorists plan an attack it will be when NOONE EXPECTS IT, and where NOONE EXPECTS IT. That maximizes the terror aspect, since the unpredictability of it is what makes it so scary--it can happen WHENEVER, and WHEREVER, to WHOEVER.

Intelligence services working together can try to bust up terror plots (especially if they aren't hindered by a 'war preznit' who's PNAC buddies are looking for a way to further their agenda with 'another pearl harbor'). But there will always be terrorists, and the more we meddle in other countries affairs, the more we will be made targets.

The repeated mantra of 'there haven't been any terrorist attacks on US soil since 9/11' (we're letting them kill us over there so they don't have to kill us over here) along with the belief that Dubya & Dick have made this country any safer through their invasion of Iraq and the hanging of Saddam Hussein are going to get a thorough ***-whooping at the hands of investigations (and it won't be a democrat witch-hunt either--there are already dozens of republicans who want to save their asses by getting as far from this administrations looming disaster as possible).

All men should read in the Old Testament, Jeremiah 28: 8 and 9 KJV, when God gave an enhanced and firm rule for the ID of a true prophet. Only those who prophesy peace, and that peace comes to pass, are to be considered to have been sent by God.

Those who pretend to prophecy without a direct word, or call any words spoken to them a prediction, should consider the end of the prophet Hananiah. Hananiah, a member of the church in his day, died the same year for giving a false impression of God out of his own imagination.

So have I. Things are just a little too quiet and its due. The only difference is I ain't saying god told me. I am just looking at it logically. Want a little more: stay out of Houston. That is 5 million people and a big chunk of the refineries. That would be where I would target if I were them. So if this happens, I expect you all to send me money.

Gee, an earthquake. That is a stretch huh? There are several every year, so I'll go with that one too. Sure and a few thousand car accidents too.

He'd have been more useful if he'd predicted one in mid-2001. Any damned fool can predict there might be a serious attack sometime. What's Robertson's track record for predictions?

I predicted among my circle of friends that if the west invaded Iraq in 2003 there would be a quamire and probably a civil war between Shias and Sunnis. That doesn't make me a prophet.

A true prophet's prophecies come true. His does not.

Pat Robertson is a bit misguided at times.

I too can make general statements that may or may not come true...

I predict in 2007 some terrorist is going to attack something.

I predict a storm will kill some people.

etc.

Pat Robertson is a complete retard. Maybe he should read the bible instead of using it as a doorstop. He was one of the first to blame 9/11 on America's "getting away from God." Cmon... I predict that the sun is going to rise and set several times this year. Don't pave the way for him to be a spokesman of your religion, think for yourself.

I saw on Fox NEWS that the only way to stop the on comming wave of terrorist attacks is to invade Iran and North Korea before March 2007.

I'm enlisting next week. 10 weeks of basic and I'll be ready right when it happens.

I think it is a no brainer since George Bush and the congress refuse to guard the borders its only a matter of time whether it happens in 07 or not is questionable.

Boy, it takes a real brainiac to predict a terrorist attack in 2007.

Tell you what... I'll bet you a million dollars we'll see one.

I must be a prophet, too.

(I'll tell you what would be an amazing prediction... let someone predict that there WON'T be a terrorist attack in 2007. And if there isn't one, I'll start worshipping HIM)
