I just put up a blog on myspace. Basically saying I don't want a relationship and what not.

But anyways, now I got asked out by someone and I really want to say yes. Yet i might look like a hypocrite. Yet lol, this girl and I have known eachother for a while so I guess it's a pleasent suprise that came up.

I thought of waiting for a while. But I really get this feeling like if I do I won't get this opportunity again. Plus she's always been my friend and she is even my #1 person on myspace...whatever credit that amounts to lol

So...

Jump on the Opportunity or Let it walk away

That's the way life works: when you don't want or need a relationship, you seem to attract females. I don't know if it is because you appear to not need them and are more confident, or if it's just a cruel trick of fate, but that's how it is.

You ever notice when you are in a relationship, the same thing happens, but when you get your heart stomped on and your self-confidence is shakey while you try to figure out how you misjudged that person, you seem to be wearing female repellent? And that just makes it worse?

Good luck, I think you just have to go in with your eyes wide-open and try to pay attention and see the other person clearly. If she turns out to not be somebody you want to spend a lot of time with, get out before she makes you undateable for a long time by slaming your heart to the curb. Watch, pay attention.

A date is not a relationship. If it becomes one, then that just might be great for you. If you like this girl and would like to go out with her, then just do it. If you find out then that you still don't want a relationship, the two of you can talk about it. You say you have known her for a long time. Chances are she would understand. And don't worry about looking like a hypocrite. Who else on myspace is going to know you went out with her. Men can change their minds just like women can. Besides, some of my best relationships happened when I wasn't even looking to be in one. Go out, enjoy your time with her, learn more about each other, then see if a relationship is even what the two of you would want.

maybe she read your blog and decided she better ask before you do what you said you would. ohhhh. you know you can always delete that blog so then there wouldn't be any evidence that you were a hypocrite.haha...so I would go for it. Just make sure you delete the blog first.

Always jump on an opportunity. Sometimes the best things happen when you aren't looking.

its always alright to see someone you wont be a hipocrite for meeting people or seeing what kind of person they are. if you decide to date this person steady enough you can always post your my space to dating. which would be the honest thing to do. go be happy!
