I wondered the same thing. When I lost 75 lbs. I still thought my face was as fat as before and when I look at pictures it pretty much was. It wasn't until I lost the next 25 lbs, that I really saw a difference. When I talked to my doctor and personal trainer, they both said the same thing. The body determines where the fat will be lost first and tends to do so in the order that it was put on. As another poster mentioned, you cannot spot-reduce fat. You can, however, spot-increase muscle by focusing on one area; the additional muscle can then help to burn excess fat. Unfortunately, the face isn't really something that you can do anything about without going to the extreme and getting liposuction (which I'm not recommending). It will come in time. Good luck and congrats on the weight loss!!

Give it some time. You can't spot-reduce body fat. Your body puts fat on and takes it off in its own way, and those areas where you have the most flab (for me it's my f**kin' GUT) that's where the flab comes off last. You may be one of those people who retain fat in the face longer than others, but believe me, the flab WILL come off if you stick with it. Don't give up. Your weight is entirely within your control, and if you really want to lose it and keep it off you can do it. Stay the course. You'll get there.

First you need to determine if it is really fat or your bone structure. Sometimes, people tend to see a wide face as fat when actually, you may just have a prominent jaw and wide cheekbones. If you have that AND "meaty" cheeks you just have to give it time. Short of stress or losing sleep all the time, you just have to give your body parts time to catch up to each other. Promise, your face will catch up. :-)
