should i become a bit more of an *** because being nice and caring just dosent get me anywhere... what do most girls prefer... i just feel used.

If you truly are nice and caring you really cant help but be that way. I'm like that too and each time someone screws me over I say the same thing but then when it comes down to it I am who I am. I might get screwed sometimes but I have integrity in who I am and what I believe to be right.

Well I can't answer for "most" girls but I can tell you I would never date a guy that was a jerk, and if I found that out on the first date there would not be a second date. I like a man who is confident, a gentlemen, who isn't afraid to open the door for a lady, and who will treat me like a lady. If that is not "sociably acceptable" anymore too bad! In return you would feel like a man, men should know how to treat woman and woman should know how to treat men :o). Its not rocket science.

heck no! balance out ur manliness with some chickiness! be nice and caring cause in the long run it will get u far but dont be to nice and caring cause people might get sissy vibes from you. go for girls that are just as caring and nice as urself and you might get what you want! just be a little grrr!!! sumtimes

it's not so much about being nice and caring, it's that girls don't like predictably in guys, often times nice guys are boring, while, bad boys often aren't. you can take on the attributes of being a bad boy (humor, not seeming desperate for someone, awkwardness), that you can take on without being an ******.

i like nice guys but thats rare in younger girls but unfortunately for you ...date older girls...their usually through that bad boy thing
