if i made less than $1000.00 last year in freelance graphic design work, will i need to claim this on my taxes? if so, what forms do i need?

i've only ever filed my taxes over telefile before.

Well, yes. If you made over $400, you'd owe self-employment tax even if you don't owe any income tax, so you'd need to file. You'll need form 1040, 1040 Schedule C or C-EZ, and 1040-SE. You can download them, and their instructions, from irs.gov
