What's your definition of a city? There are hundreds of cities if the defintion is loose but you've got the major capital cities for each state and territory if that's what you're talking about
*Darwin (Northern Territory)
*Brisbane (Queensland)
*Sydney (New South Wales)
*Canberra (Australian Capital Territory and also Australia's Capital City)
*Melbourne (Victoria)
*Adelaide (South Australia)
*Perth (Western Australia)
(You could really count Wellington (New Zealand) too... JUST KIDDING!!)
