it's kind of chilly (54 f) and it's dark (9 pm) i need to take my dog out for a walk and i skipped going to the gym today, so i'm considering running with her. but it's cold and dark and i'm lazy and haven't ran for months... do i run or just go for a walk with her to my unoccupied highschool (and smoke)?

As for the 54 degrees....that's a heat wave where I am and not cold. That's a good tempurature to run in. But only you can decide if the neighborhood is safe to run at 9pm. I would run, then you will be glad you did afterwards. BTW, throw away the cigs.

54 degrees Fahrenheit is kind of chilly? Wow, what I would give for 54 degree days in winter. At any rate, if you haven't been running in several months and you smoke, then don't run -- walk first. You really need to kick the cancer sticks before you start running again, and getting into jogging after you stop smoking really does help you stay away from cigarettes. So here's the drill: (1) Walk today, (2) Quit smoking tomorrow, (3) Start jogging on Friday.

i wouldn't go walking or running if it were in my neighborhood, you could get a lot more than you bargain for

TAKE HER FOR A RUN AND FORGET THE SMOKE. IT'S NOT GOOD FOR YOU EITHER.

Be careful what you do. Carry pepperspray or a weapon.
