Married men hit on single women because they want their fun without the commitment. Likewise, some single men hit only on married women because they think they can get some wild sex from a lonely wife. Or, some of them hit on married women because some other guy broke up their marriage, so they want to do the same to someone else.
But, there are plenty of great single men out here -- you just have to know where to look and what to look for!

The married men are more confident b/c they have nothing to lose -- they already have someone at home for them.
The single ones are shy b/c they are hoping against hope for some connection.
If you like them young you could always find a guy on a college/university campus maybe working on their postgrad degree...

how old are you? i have noticed that the older i get that the field gets smaller and smaller, and i am 26. the reason that married men hit on you is because they feel that they have nothing to lose and they are obviously unhappy, or looking for something. i promise you for every married guy that its on you, there are 3 single guys that just don't have the balls to approach you.
guys love a girl that approaches them. take it in your own hands and persue what you are looking for.

oh yea... you didnt get the memo, there out looking for married women!! :) Married men who hit on single women are mostly bastards, and they make the honest men look like ****. Good luck with finding you a single one.

Shame on them for disrespecting their wives like that, and congrats on telling them where to get off. They say that all the good blokes are married or involved they are sooooooooooo wrong. Single men can be found, they are the nice ones waiting hoping that they get a chance to talk to you when the married one goes home to his wife and kids.

It might be becase you appear as the type of women that will satisfy the needs of a married man, which unfortunately often relate to sex and physical attraction, things that often (though not always) are gone from a marriage relatively soon.
Chances are you also are a contrast to the type of women that man ended up marrying, and most likely an "opposite" to his type of personality.

I have learned that women attract the type of men they set the bait for. So, change your approach and where you socialize, the trend will reverse.
