Sounds like your friend doesn't want to go through the same thing she put her parents through
Tell your friend That boys are just as hard
In stead of having 1 pregnant teen with a girl
She can have 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 if she has a son
I see guys all the time with 3 or 4 kids from different mothers
I'd keep the girl

This person doesn't deserve the right to give birth to a child! I hope she gives up the baby, no matter the sex. No kid deserves to be raised by an absolute idiot! I myself am adopted, but i'm proud to be adopted, love my family, no problems here. Adoption should only be considered when absolutely necessary! Hopefully if she does decide to follow through the agency she decides to use will FIRST give her counseling before agreeing to accept the baby after birth. I would think she would reconsider after giving birth.

I think if that is her attitude she needs to consider adoption regardless of the sex of the baby. If having a boy was so important to her she should have considered adopting an infant boy herself rather than possibly bringing an unwanted girl into the "system." This is very sad to hear.

I think your friend should use preventative measures the next time she has sex. She obviously is not mature enough to handle a baby, regardless of it's sex. Tell your friend to give it up for adoption regardless of it being a girl or a boy and then try waiting 10 years before having a baby. It's time she grew up!!

I think that's better than killing them like they do in China. There are still families there who only want boys, not because they are easier, but to carry on the family name. I think it is some wierd form of population control. There may even be laws about how many kids they can have. That's why you read about so many Chinese girls being adopted.

That's silly. A child, no matter the sex, is hard to raise and very expensive. Obviously, you're friend is really young and has no expierence with children.

Whether a boy or girl, your friend should give it up for adoption. She is obviously not ready to be a mother.

i think that is **** because the sex does not matter on how hard they are to raise it depends on if the person is able to raise the child and how the child is raised from birth i wanted my first to be a girl and me second to be a boy and i wanted them 5 years apart well my first is a boy my second is a girl and they are a little over a year apart and i wanted to what until i was 25 to have my first well i was 15 but hey i am doing good

I think that it's better for her to give up the baby, instead of having an abortion. However, she should not just give up the baby, just because she thinks girls are harder to raise. Being a mom, period is hard. She needs to really think about her decision, before she makes it. Good Luck to her and you. God Bless and Be Safe :)

I won't judge your friend. But I have three girls and raising them has been fine. My cousin has boys and has a hard time with them. It really doesn't matter what the sex is, it is how the parents act and the individual personality of the child that matters.

I think she should give any child she has up for adoption. She will be a terrible mother and the child will be much better off with a good and loving family.
