I mean, you give a dog morphine for the rest of its life and what will it have accomplished? It seems the journey to Heaven is far more rewarding in itself. Euphoria leaves a person thoughtless, numb, and pretty much lifeless. Total bliss seems very empty. When you experience pain, you’re suddenly conscious of what other people go through. Has more human spirit.

To quote Hermann Hesse: “What I always hated and detested and cursed above all things was this contentment, this healthiness and comfort, this carefully preserved optimism of the middle classes, this fat and prosperous brood of mediocrity.”

The 144,000 people who are going to heaven, will be kings and queens with jesus and will rule over the earth. Everyone else who died will be revived, and will live on earth. Some "bad" people, will die and not be revived. Who these people are will be determined when that time comes.

Pain, strife, and suffering only seems like a good idea to those who haven't encountered too much of it...I can say that my life has been rather painful and I'm looking forward to heaven as a blissful release from the difficulties of life. I'm tired.

Yeah, heaven might be a little bit boring...but at least I won't hurt anymore.

Living for yourself is what is actually pointless. While heaven may seem like a wonderful place to go, it isn't supposed to be about you living in a perfect world for eternity, but instead, worshipping God forever. Heaven would be no different than hell if somehow God wasn't there.

Has there ever been any evidence of heaven, or any other kind of life after death? Seriously. I'd like to believe it but I see no reason to. Aside from religious books, where is there any clue of the truthiness of it?

Is not pain and misery the wellspring of art? I imagine the walls of Heaven are covered in a boring drab whitewash....

I sometimes wonder what people would do in Heaven. I'm not saying I don't believe in it. I just can't help but wonder what people would do all day up there.

Yes, it is very pointless. To me, at least.
