I think you are dating my ex.... sorry!!
Seriously though, you need to talk to him about this and see what you can do to make your relationship more 50/50, otherwise it wont get any better. You cant get mad at him if you arent telling him that this is bothering you. If you are going along with this all the time then he isnt going to change...
If you tell him how you feel and he keeps the me, me, me attitude then you need to move on and meet a real man... That is what I did honey!!
Good luck

Do you have something specific to tell him, or are you just talking to talk? Guys need to feel useful, give him a problem to solve. He'll listen. Guys get annoyed by inane chatter like:
"OMG, Stacy was wearing the blue dress at work today, i totally told her i liked that dress in the catalog, can you believe it? and she wore the red shoes too..."
If you want him to listen to that, it's not gonna happen.

You need to shut up and listen first. Let him talk. then you have your say. Problem is that young folks want to dominate the conversation and not listen. Now he as to do his part and shut up too.l

It's time to go. You can be second in his eyes or first in someone elses. Which do you deserve?

try to get his attention by not acting like your self or do something that might catch his attention and pay attention, or just ignore him when he's talking to you so he can know how it feels , that happened to my sister, so i kind of know this stuff from my sis experience.

if you want his respect, which he is not showing you. Most men will want to do for their partner before they do for themselves, and in turn you take care of him and listen to him...yours is way lopsided....
