that's how it works, they put in you bacteria (in the shot) so that you body is trained to fight it.

The flu vaccine is made using dead virus so can not give you the flu .....reason sometimes one gets sick afterwards is because !) they had been exposed without knowing it before the shot 2) the shot had not been given time to be built up in your body

Those were most likely the side effects of the shot. They last only a couple days - if they last longer, take her to the doctor - but I got them this year. I've gotten the shot before and been fine, but this one laid me up for about a day. Better than a long, drawn-out flu, though ... If you're worried you can take her in, but bear in mind there might not really be anything to do.

yes it is. the flu shot doesnt really take effect until a month after you get it, so wiht in that month, you could get the flu. It doesnt happen that often though. Your baby is probably just having a sypmtom from the shot or a cold. I dont really think she has the flu.

I personally haven't gotten anything from a shot but it's entirely possible since when you get a shot you're getting weakend or dead cells from the virus you're getting protected from. Although getting sick from shots are normal regardless of your age I think it's possible no matter what your doctor said. It's hard to say though, I would either suggest going back if she doesn't get better soon or seeing another doctor if you're very worried and don't want to wait.
